A Message from your Club Directors

Dear Members,

With the summer season now well underway and the club seeing tremendous use, we’d like to take a moment to appreciate everyone who has been enjoying TBCA and remind ourselves what makes our club unique.

TBCA is a member-run community. Unlike a commercial recreation facility, there isn’t staff overseeing day-to-day operations. The club works because each of us takes ownership, not only of the facilities, but of the experience we create for one another.

As the pool and grounds become busier over the summer, we’d appreciate everyone’s help with a few reminders:

* Please ensure all guests are familiar with and follow our club rules; members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

* Be mindful of other members, particularly during busy periods, so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the facilities.

* Please ensure gates and doors are properly secured when entering or leaving.

* If you notice something that needs attention, or see behaviour that doesn’t reflect the spirit of our club, let the Board know rather than assuming someone else will.

The Board has recently received feedback from several members regarding guest use and facility etiquette. Rather than viewing these as isolated incidents, we see them as an opportunity to reinforce the culture that has made TBCA such a special place for generations.

Our facilities belong to all of us. Looking after them, and looking out for one another, is part of being a TBCA member.

Thank you for your continued stewardship, and we hope you enjoy the summer.

TBCA Board of Directors
